Capricorn’s Ruling House: Tenth House

What makes a Capricorn so determined and one of the most successful individuals on earth? That would be credited to Capricorn’s ruling house, known as the Tenth House.

What is the Meaning of the Houses?

Each astrological sign has a house that is associated with his or her sign. A House indicates the area of life where a person will learn most of his or her lessons about one’s self and purpose in life.

·     The 1^st to 6^th Houses are concerned with a person’s self-development and expression. Individual’s born under the signs: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, and Virgo are ruled by one of the first six Houses.

·     The 7^th to 12^th Houses are concerned with how a person relates to others and learns to co-operate with people and forces outside one’s self. Individual’s born under the signs: Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces are ruled by one of the last six Houses.  

Capricorn’s Ruling House: Tenth House

Capricorn’s are ruled under the Tenth House, the House of Social Status. The Tenth House is ruled by Saturn (The Ruling Planet of Capricorn). It represents what one does with his or her life. Ambition, hunger for power, authority, respect, fame and fortune are just some of the words to help describe what it means to be ruled by this House. The Tenth House rules career, status, wisdom, fulfillment of dreams and aspirations. The Tenth House rule is the house where personal ambitions are expressed through predictions from the larger world.

What it means to be ruled under the Tenth House:

With the sign of Capricorn being ruled by the Tenth House describes Capricorn’s constant drive for success; due to The Tenth House traits such as ambition and hunger for power. With Capricorn’s being one of the most stable and most serious of the zodiac signs allows Capricorn’s to succeed in almost anything they set their mind to.
